As soon as your baby is born, his brain is working hard
taking in all of the information around him. Imagine seeing
everything for the first time and trying to make sense of the
world. A baby's brain is busy making millions of connections,
called synapses, and everything you do plays a role in how
that happens. Your relationship with your baby is the key to
healthy brain development. By understanding how your baby's
brain works, you will be able to help him grow and develop in
positive ways. We hope you will enjoy our research spotlights
on how babies think. more
